The bolt is generally not prestressed (sometimes a small prestress is applied), so it is passively stressed, and it only acts as an anchoring force when the anchored rock and soil mass is deformed to a certain extent. In addition, the length of the anchor cable is generally 20-50 meters, and the anchor rod(rock bolt) is less than 20 meters. Internationally, the anchor cable is only one type of anchor rod(rock bolt).
